Eastern High School Championships This year GNA is privileged to host the annual Eastern High School Championships. The races will be on March....(Fri, Sat and Sun). To see results, click here 3rd Annual Valentines Paintball  Biathlon To register online, click here On Sunday, February 14 2010 GNA will host its annual Valentines Day Biathlon Race. Age groups: BKL, High school, J2, J1, OJ, Senior & Master skiers Distances and Age Groups J2+older map J3 map J4 map J5 map J6- 3 x 2.5K 3 x 1.5K 3 x 800m 3 x 500 m Stadium   For High School, J2 and J1+ Practice shooting 8:30—9:45 Start time: 10am (interval start) Raffle for AM racers at noon!   For BKL (Lollipop, J6,J5,J4,J3) Practice shooting 11:30—12:45 Start time: 1pm (interval start) Raffle for BKL racers after the race!         GNA January 14 Paintball Race This Thursday (January 14th) GNA will be hosting a paintball biathlon race. Our rules for biathlon are: there are 5 targets; for each target that a racer hits, they get 10 seconds deducted from their elapsed time; nothing happens to the elapsed time if the target is missed Start: Individual, 15 second interval Start time: HS boys: 3:15PM, HS girls will follow shortly after. MS kids will go after high school ones finish Distance:  3 x 1.5K with 2 stops for shooting. The racer will shoot targets after their 1st and 2nd loop. We will be meeting at our clubhouse at Gunstock.   GNA Classic Race Postponed Due to bad snow conditions the December 27th classic race has been postponed to January2nd. We will still be holding a Kayak Raffle on the day of the race   TD Bank NENSA Eastern Cup Openers Congratulations to our GNA  who participated in Saturday's Presque Isle sprint. Mikaela Paluszek placed 8th among the J2 girls; Guy Rice was 11th and Jack Shrupp was 16th in the J2 boys race. Good job to Anna Breu placing 37th as well as to Jenna Maddock placing 39th in the women's race. Nick Murphy was 61st in the men's race. Do not forget to bring your skis to practice from now on to celebrate and enjoy yet another ski season!     Patrick's Auction.... November 4, 2009 GNA work days..... November GNA is having volunteer days on  November  We are asking anyone to help out bringing and splitting firewood for the winter and putting pipes in the ground for snowmaking. We also need help cleaning the ski trails. What one would do is to get rid of large debris such as logs, branches, shrubs. If you are planning to come, please bring your own clippers and gloves and lunch.
